The refugee-based nonprofit, Switchboard, hosted and archived a webinar on assisting refugees with Psychological First Aid.  The recording can now be viewed anytime.

Psychological First Aid is not counseling or therapy, but rather an evidence-based model designed to help people cope in the aftermath of trauma. During the webinar, a psychiatrist and two social workers talked through the basic steps of serving clients in distress. The information gives special consideration to refugees from Afghanistan affected by the crisis in their county.
