IC Compassion
IC Compassion is an Iowa City-based, Christian organization that provides tools to help immigrants, refugees and low-income individuals overcome barriers. The organization offers a food pantry, English as a Second Language classes, citizenship test classes, one-on-one tutoring, legal support for immigrants, counseling services for refugees and more.
RISE AmeriCorps Members at IC Compassion assist with educational programs which teach English, job skills, and computer skills. They serve as mentors, tutors, and instructors for clients.
