Youth with Al Éxito's programs meet to prepare for school in July, 2021.
Translated from Spanish, Al Éxito means "to success." The nonprofit organization helps Latino youth in Des Moines achieve exactly that through extensive support services. Its mission is to advance the educational achievement and leadership capacity of Latino youth and their families.
Several of Al Éxito's core projects include a culturally-relevant afterschool program for Latino middle school students and a college preparatory, academic achievement and civic engagement program for Latino high school students.
