Meet Thu

Thu Meh is a RISE AmeriCorps Member serving with EMBARC in Des Moines.

Thu earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and a minor in psychology from Grandview University. She now balances her RISE service with a job in accounting.

Originally from Burma, Thu is multilingual. She speaks Karenni, Burmese and English.

“I am joining RISE AmeriCorps because I want to give back to the communities. The AmeriCorps program supports communities and allows me to get job experience and knowledge.”
