Meet Mohamed

Mohamed Elamin is a RISE AmeriCorps Member serving at Kirkwood Community College. 

Originally from Sudan, Mohamed obtained a degree in computer software development from Kirkwood Community College, and worked as a computer science tutor in their tutoring center for three years. 

Mohamed is interested in serving immigrants and refugees because he is an immigrant himself. 

“I would like to help others as I received support when I moved to the United States.”
