Meet Mijha

Mijha Bolton is a RISE AmeriCorps member serving with Hoover Community School and EIAD (Eastern Iowa African Diaspora) in Cedar Rapids. 

Mijha graduated from Purdue Global with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Marketing. She is also a licensed esthetician, having graduated from Capri College and  has her own business in beauty and skin care. Mijha's multiracial background allows her to help educate all different skin types and hygiene techniques, specifically educating cultural skin types (African, Hispanic/Latino, and Hawaiian).

The position of Resource Navigator and Wellness Specialist with RISE AmeriCorps enables her to branch out doing what she loves while at the same time serving and giving back to her community.
