Meet Liliam

Liliam Acebo is a RISE AmeriCorps member serving with Centro Latino of Iowa in Council Bluffs.

Growing up in Las Tunas, Cuba, one of Liliam's goals was to speak English fluently and learn more about life in the United States in order to help others adjust. She immigrated to the US in 2015.
