Meet Jeannette

Jeannette Chocan is a RISE AmeriCorps Member serving with Centro Latino of Iowa in Council Bluffs.

As a client at Centro Latino since 2003, Jeannette has first-hand experience with many of the organization’s programs. She is also involved as a volunteer for various activities at Centro Latino as well.

“I am interested in serving the immigrant and refugee community  because I am an immigrant myself who came to the states in search of opportunities and freedom.”
