Meet Israel

Israel Lopez Yepez is a RISE AmeriCorps member serving with DREAM Iowa. 

Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Israel has lived in Des Moines for the past 24 years. He is passionate about storytelling and got his start in the film industry in 2015.

Speaking about his RISE experience Israel says, "I have joined the DREAM Iowa team to help transcend and bring some of these immigrant stories to life and I look forward to being a part of that."
