Meet Elsa

Elsa Barroso-Ramirez is a RISE AmeriCorps Member serving with Hoover Community School in Cedar Rapids.

As an immigrant, Elsa understands what people experience when they move to a new country where they do not know the language. She joined RISE AmeriCorps to help. 

In her free time, Elsa enjoys spending time with her kids.
