Meet Elise

Elise Baty is a RISE AmeriCorps member serving with Jewels Academy in Des Moines.

Elise joined the program to gain experience for her career as a teacher. During her time serving with RISE, Elise hopes to learn skills that will help with her future goals. Elise has interest in art, science, and literature, and in her free time she enjoys reading, painting, and drawing. 

"I would like to impact my community by helping the girls at Jewels Academy realize what careers they can do in Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM)."
