Enrolling with RIVA AmeriCorps

The paperwork and accounts associated with AmeriCorps can take a long time, especially for new members (one to two hours). It is advised that you begin on paperwork early to ensure there is enough time to ask questions and complete before your first day of service.
These must be done before you begin service. |

NEW MEMBERS
1. Fill out the online application
2. Complete your background checks
3. Register your online accounts
4. Submit your member service agreement (MSA)

RETURNING MEMBERS
1. Submit your member service agreement (full individualized contract emailed by staff)
2. Fill out the online application

Exiting RISE AmeriCorps
Steps for exiting:
1. All timesheets need to be completed accurately in OnCorps (preferably on your last day) a. Must also be approved by supervisor
2. All impact and monthly performance measure reports turned in
3. Exit evaluation turned in (completed by supervisor and signed by member)
4. Complete the RISE Member Exit Survey
5. Complete the "Exit Form" and "Future Plans Survey" on My.AmeriCorps.gov
